Psychoeducational Assessments
Psychoeducational Assessment
These assessments are focused specifically on learning, and can be helpful when learning differences or challenges are suspected. We focus on cognitive abilities, academic skills, and learning processes such as working memory and problem-solving. We also commonly assess attention processes that impact learning for children, adolescents, and young adults. This process includes thorough interviews with individuals as well as family members and instructors as appropriate, to learn more about developmental and educational background and history. After our assessment, we provide feedback and recommendations for interventions and supports that might be helpful.
