Cognitive Testing
Cognitive Ability Testing and Assessment
These abbreviated assessments focus on cognitive ability, often known as “IQ”. Cognitive ability refers to a broad range of intersecting neurological processes, including verbal and nonverbal reasoning, problem solving, processing, and memory. During these cognitive testing, we administer specific tests that assess an individual’s unique profile of cognitive strengths and weaknesses. Cognitive assessments are often appropriate for families considering application to private schools and those looking to determine what type of educational environment is the best fit. Following the testing process, feedback is given in verbal and written format.
